The Beautiful People: Hanging with Fashion Bloggers at Neiman Marcus Last Call

You wouldn’t know it were you to judge by my penchant for yoga pants (few of which have seen the inside of a yoga studio) and my signature having not been brushed messy bun, but I’m a total fashion junky. Shoes are my muse, due in part to the fact that they are about the only couture I can squeeze myself into any more. That said, I’ve been known to spend a weekend catching up on past episodes of Project Runway. My husband is forever annoyed at the stacks of fashion mags that clog the mail box. Somehow the man is convinced that I can get my fashion fix online. Silly boy. So when I begged another blogger to let me tag along got invited to a recent event hosted by Neiman Marcus Last Call of Arundel Mills, I cleared the schedule and started hauling out the shoe boxes.

We got the low-down on all the awesome Autumn trends;

Into the Blue from deepest jewel tones to those sweet baby blues!
My personal FAV.. Horse Play, which is all about channeling your inner equestrian.
Fancy Pants Perfect for all you Metalic-heads with it’s Brocade, studs and ombre.
Finishing Touches, this is where I shine… litterally, with brooches, unique pops of “Oh!” and even cute little clutches. I LOVE how simple it is to get a BIG WOW factor with this trend. My friend The Luxeologist, has been preaching this style to me forever!

Did I mention that there are some serious deals to be had? Understanding that Neiman Marcus carries high-end items, at prices that are on par with the designer labels that grace their walls, the pricing at Last Call is great. You can save hundreds on THIS season’s trends from designers like Badgley & Mischka, Betsy Johnson and my muse, Michael Kors. This store speaks to the fashion junkie, and the cheapskate in me! Plus, once you’ve cleaned them out at Last Call you can hit the rest of the mall at Arundel Mills and snag some jeans at, Not Your Daughter’s Jeans’ outlet (no pair over $89 and curvy girl sizes too… HELLO!). This place is packed full of premium brands at premium savings.

You. Must. Go.

In other news, I covet the style sported by the lovely Waverly (pictured above) who also writes the super-nerd-girl-fashion-babe blog, Rich & Poor. She is so stinkin’ cute, huh?! Ah to be young and hip again.

Disclosure: This fashionable event of awesome was hosted by both Neiman Marcus Last Call and Arundel Mills. I was provided a gift card by Neiman Marcus Last Call to shop products and put their pricing to the test. As ALWAYS my opinions are my own, because gosh darn it YOU deserve it!
