Can you remember the last time you went to the salon? By “went” to the salon I don’t mean taking the kids for a clip or popping in to ask where the nearest Starbucks is. What I’m asking is when was the last time you took yourself to the salon. If you’re anything like me you have a personal style team comprised of the dynamic duo of Scunci and Nice N’ Easy, who both have galleries at Target. I’m so out of touch with a proper touch up that I can’t tell the difference between “Ombre” and “Hombre”.
Apparently one looks like this…
Whilst the other like is…
Who knew? Well apparently those who are afforded the time to; a) watch TV and b) spend a little time in a salon that doesn’t include airplane shaped barber chairs. For the record, William Levy is one hot HOMBRE, and this hair has cool hot pink OMBRE highlights.
Admittedly I lack style, and make rather infrequent trips to the salon. In my defense, running a household and my own business doesn’t really allow much time for a day at the salon. Lucky for me, and for you too, places like Hair Cuttery are upping the style factor by being so much more than the family “barber”.
Take a little time for yourself and make an appointment for a nearly-instant boost of confidence and style at your local Hair Cuttery. Or hey, you could even drop in for a color boost (no appointment needed) between drop-offs at soccer practice. In fact, appelaing to both the time-strapped and cheap-o chicks in me they are even having a big sale on color through March 4th, 2013. Hair Cuttery offers a full menu of style services at over 900 locations from the East Coast to the Midwest serving up everythig from cuts to color, curls to Keratin and even.. you guessed it… ombre!
Really, you need to do this for YOU. There are few things as empowering as stepping out of the salon with a new do, feeling like a new you. Gosh darn it, you deserve it. The folks at Hair Cuttery agree and they’ve teamed up with me to give one lucky Nuggetier a $50 gift card to get it done. With services like a shampoo, cut and blow-dry starting at around $26, you’re set!
I participated in this sponsored campaign for One2One Network. I received a Hair Cuttery gift card to facilitate my post and monetary compensation. As always all opinions are my own, because gosh darn it you deserve it!

This would be awesome! I’d love to ave a nice clip. It’s been almost 3 years since my last one! (Gasp!)
Oh, and I’d love to go to Vermont. Never been.
Ha, ha… Vermont. This is what happens when you set up a giveaway before you’ve had the proper amount of coffee. Consider yourself entered. Oh, and I’d love to go to Vermont too!
I would say just trying dry shampoo. Yuck. That crap doesn’t work.
Agreed! It’s just gross, huh?
The most daring I have done is cut my own bangs
How brave you are!
DIFFERENT CUT AND STYLE OF HAIR
A perm – which I will never do again.
Me either! Oh the horror.
I had my hair died from my natural blonde color do deep reddish/brown and had bangs cut for the first time.
You ALWAYS look so fabulous. I on the other hand definitely need a trip to the salon.
Oh hush, I’m the queen of dark roots and yoga pants!
I tried to dye my own hair and the color was lighter than I had used before so I had a neon red/pink skunk stripe down my head. Nice, no?
Alissa´s last blog post ..The Best of Video {2/22/13}
I had red highlights once but they fade so fast
Going from natural ash blonde to dark brown. Thanks for the chance to win!
ive dyed the under portion of my long hair so when its pulled up in a bun i have two colors showing
Probably when I got bleached into Blondesville.
A perm, was definitely not for me, I looked horrible! lol
a totally disastrous perm
Funny, it seems a LOT of us have had petrifying perms!
Getting blonde highlights!
I can’t say I’ve ever gone daring but I’ll try.
Jason Vaughn´s last blog post ..Merry Christmas from Dallas!
I had my hair black and my bangs blonde, I liked it but the upkeep was too much
I’ve only gotten cuts…nothing daring!
A perm. I ended up with hair like a poodle. Awful 80’s
A perm many years ago which I hated!
