    Location, location, location!

The hotel's location was perfect for me. It was only a five-minute walk to the Reading Terminal Market, where I enjoyed some of Philadelphia's famous cuisine, including soft pretzels and cheesesteaks. Then I grabbed a slice of Dessert Lady's amazing chocolate mousse cake.

I took an even quicker walk to the Philadelphia City Hall. The Loews is only 10 minutes from the iconic Independence Hall (home of the Liberty Bell), where both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were signed.

The hotel was also conveniently located near the Convention Center, where I attended a conference.

    Amenities

You'll love the amenities like room service, flat-screen TVs, and complimentary Wi-Fi in each room provide guests with a comfortable and luxurious experience.

Valet parking is available for those driving to the hotel, and there is also a concierge service to help you plan your itinerary.

On the ground floor of the Loews is Bank and Bourbon, a spectacular modern-American-style restaurant. I enjoyed a lovely single malt whisky in the Lobby Lounge and got a pre-made salad at the POD Market, a small market on the lobby level.

    My Stay

During my stay at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel, I was blown away by the experience. I booked online on their website, the check-in process was fast and smooth, and the staff was friendly and welcoming.

    The Room

I stayed in a "Grand Room," with a fantastic corner view. The room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a comfortable king-sized bed, VERY soft sheets and pillows, big flat-screen TV, and a great view of the city.

The room also had a work desk and a small seating area. The room service was excellent, with a wide range of delectable options (I ordered Philadelphia cheesecake with berries!).

The plush bedding was so soft and inviting that I almost missed my 11 am check-out, almost.

    The View

The room also had a flat-screen TV, a work desk, and a seating area with two armchairs that overlooked the city skyline. The large windows provided stunning views of the city, which was especially impressive at night!

    Fitness Area and Spa

The Loews Philadelphia Hotel has an impressive, well-equipped fitness center flooded with natural light. I could even keep up my cycling routine with one of their Peloton bikes. The equipment was in excellent condition, and the gym was clean.

The gym overlooks the city skyline, providing a stunning backdrop for a workout!

After a long day of traversing the city, the hotel spa was exactly what I needed. I splurged at the Turkish Bath Room and had a relaxing massage...talk about feeling rejuvenated and refreshed!

    Customer Service

The customer service at Loews Philadelphia Hotel is off the charts! The staff was always super nice and on top of things, making sure my stay was as comfy and enjoyable as possible.

The Loews crew gave me some awesome tips on where to eat and what to check out while I was in town. (Check out my Dublin Fitzwilliam Hotel review for another hotel with exceptional customer service!).
