The most common problem after cleaning is wicking spots. A wicking spot is when something is spilled into the backing of your carpet. We can remove the top layer of the spot, but then the spot will work its way back up to the surface and reappear, usually during drying. Wicking spots extend to the backing of the carpet.

Another common problem with carpet is air filtration. Air filtration is the dark or greyish line around your carpet where the carpet and baseboard meet. This is caused by air flow through or over you carpet allowing fine soil to settle on the surface. When an excessive amount of air is release from your ventilation system the air escapes through the gaps along the walls. To reduce this problem seal the gaps allong the edge of you rooms so no air escapes, change your filters often on your ventilation systems and use your edger tool when you vacuum.
